NEW!
ELEMENTARY CAMP
Due to popular
demand, we have added an elementary (ages 8-11, grades 3-6)
theatre arts camp. We will meet from 8:45 AM - 12.30 PM every
day plus performances at the perspective areas. At the end
they will give a performance as the matinee shows - 3 PM on the
final Friday and Saturday. Only $300 (get $100 off of each
registration if registered by May 17, 2010)
Due to low registrations in Chandler, we
have cancelled the elementary Summer Camp in Chandler only.
SUMMER THEATRE ARTS CAMP
Every summer for the past seven years MoezArt Productions has hosted a Summer Theatre Arts Camp. And every year we hear how much the students enjoy their summer days with us. Students from ages 12 - 18 attend breakout sessions and rehearsals for two weeks and at the end present quality plays.
We are changing one of our locations this year. Our
Phoenix Area has moved to Glendale since most of our people are
from that direction and also to be closer to our newest area:
Surprise. Due to low registrations,
we will ONLY have the elementary summer camp in Glendale.
THE PRODUCTION
OPEN ATTENDANCE
Over the years we have had a large request for public and private schooled students to participate in our Christian theatre arts programs. Although MoezArt is usually geared for the homeschooled community, registration is open to the public at our summer camps - meaning both homeschoolers and non-homeschoolers are invited, so be sure to invite your friends!
BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Again this year in an effort to make the camp a more intimate and unifying time for the students, we will be holding breakout sessions that everyone attends (rather than pick and choose) so that everyone can get a taste of all areas of the theatre arts. These classes will be divided by age groups and promise to be an exciting time for everyone! The sessions include acting, improvisation, auditioning, showmanship, comedy, drama, technical theatre, memorization and speech.
We meet Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM for two weeks, plus productions. 9:00 - 9:30 Opening & Devotions 9:30 - 11:00 Rehearsal 11:00 - noon Breakout Session 1 Noon - 12:30 Lunch: Each student will need to bring their own lunch. 12:30 -1:30 Breakout Session 2 1:30 - 2:30 Breakout Session 3 2:30 - 4:00 Rehearsal
Each camp will give three performances at the end of the two weeks:
