With the exception of the Community Theatre, all MoezArt Production classes are for home schooled students and meet once a week. They meet academic standards for the State of Arizona. They are arranged by semester. Classes can be taken multiple times either for the same credit or with an altered, more advanced curriculum to fulfill another scholastic requirement.

Theatre (semester long)

Since 2002, MoezArt has been presenting quality youth theatre around the valley.  This is where students get a hands-on experience of being on stage, memorizing lines, working as a unit with their peers, developing community, and being in front of people.  It's a great opportunity to use what they learn in the acting classes in a full production.  See below for productions, locations and times.

®Summer Theatre

The past 7 years we have held Summer Camps.  The summer of 2011 we started to combine the Youth show and our Community Theatre.  We will be doing shows with a large number of youth (ie. Annie, Sound of Music, Music Man, etc.) so our youth can learn along side those with more experience.

®Classes

Speech & Debate (year long)

In 2000, MoezArt began with a Speech and Debate class with 16 students.  Today over 250 students are enrolled in MoezArt all over the Phoenix valley, but there are no academic classes.  Now in the fall of 2011, we will once again offer Speech and Debate classes in Phoenix and Chandler.  Taught by Sharon Rodriguez, the founder of MoezArt, High School students will become familiar with public speaking and equipped to debate several issues effectively.  This is a year long course and classes will only be offered once every four years, so don’t miss your chance to be a part of this fantastic opportunity!

Select Cast (semester long) - On hold until further notice.

In an effort to give students a more advanced theatre curriculum, we will be creating a cast where students will compete for parts and audition as in the real world.  It is only open to a limited number of students.  Auditions will be a week before regular classes start.  Requirements: 1) needs to be a High School Junior, Senior or College student (unless part calls for age specific, then by director invitation only) 2) must have participated in at least one semester of MoezArt youth shows.  Those wanting to audition for the select cast must register for the regular semester and if selected, the registration will transfer to the select cast.  Check here for more information as it comes.
